“And I dream of vast deserts, the forests, and all of the wilderness of our continent, wild places that we should protect as a precious heritage for our children and for our children’s children. We must never forget that it is our duty to protect this environment” – Nelson Mandela
Every year on July 28th, everyone celebrates this day as World Nature Conservation Day. A day to raise awareness of protecting the earth’s natural resources and make everyone understand the importance of conserving and preserving things that will not turn back once they are gone. This day also signifies the concept of sustainability and proves that we should be a lot more conscious to think more than twice about the possible consequences of our actions. Earth provides us with cardinal materials for living, such as soil, water, air, animals, sunlight, and wants us to keep them clean and fresh if we need to stay alive and for the coming generations to live happily without facing the scarcity of these primary resources. However, if we take a look around us now, even these basics are in danger of running short due to several threats like deforestation, drought, and the use of plastics. Even though the history of World Nature Conservation Day remains unknown. It helps us review our actions as individuals and get together to unite for a better future where we still have the beauties of what our mother nature has to offer.
Nature is home to any living creature. It leaves us with an inevitable question: How can one destroy their home? Blindly throwing away any synthetic product; without caring enough if they are composed of environment-friendly materials so that they can turn back into nature effortlessly. We, humans, are hurting our home (earth). It is often; believed to be done unintentionally.
Nature experts alarmingly warn us about global warming, increasing global population and that we might not even have a decade to be able; to consume the currently existing natural resources. It is not just today that all of us have to think about how we can conserve, but making sure that we take it seriously and keep doing small changes every day that would allow us to live more sustainably.
Sustainability in the automotive industry is becoming more and more important, and there is also a constant push for lighter-weight vehicles with greater fuel efficiency. The automotive industry is adopting sustainable practices by analyzing the manufacturing process from start to finish. Even today the automotive industry is re-exploring using alternative materials in the manufacturing process that will be more efficient and consequently; reduce cost and waste. Using electric vehicles projects as inspired by sustainability, with a mission to reduce emissions. It has taken a while for these to take off, but now everyone from youngsters to adults is looking out for buying electric vehicles. Companies like Tesla are continuously innovating electric batteries. They are enabling them to hold a charge for much higher mileage. These electric vehicles are making an attractive choice for consumers all around the globe and pushing the market value. Every manufacturer in the automobile industry has been addressing pressing environmental issues of carbon dioxide emissions, waste, and fossil fuel dependence.
Let us take a look at simple things that can help in conserving natural resources.
